Problem:
In schoolyards, a lot of trash is thrown on the ground and not in the trash cans.
Idea:
You can earn points if you properly dispose of the trash in the correct garbage can. With these points you can buy nice things at school.
Result:
A bin on a scale. A software that translates the weight into points.

Problem:
Housing shortage during natural disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes.
Idea:
A collapsible home with electricity and water supplies that can be brought to disaster areas on trucks.
Result:
A scale model of a foldable house including solar cells with working lights.

De Bladwijzer, Genk, Belgium
Problem:
A lot of electricity can be generated in playgrounds.
Idea:
For each piece of playground equipment, figure out how to generate energy.
Result:
A seesaw with solar cells, A running wheel and a merry-go-round powered by a motor. When you turn the running wheel and the merry-go-round, the motor functions as a dynamo that generates electricity.
